Peach Surprise

Well, here is my extremely long overdue gift art for =SigurdHosenfeld . It took me a while even after I finally figured out what to draw, and the figuring out part was no easy task either. Regrettably, I think my skills atrophied a bit in my long hiatus from drawing, but I've tried my best. I had some trouble thinking of what a simple romantic situation might be, and ran through many different scenarios. Originally, I had the two sitting down to a candlelit dinner of a giant mushroom, but with a Toad standing in a doorway in the background with an expression of horror, as if to indicate the wrong mushroom got cooked. Somehow that didn't seem quite right. I had also toyed with the idea of a recreation of the "flying" scene from Titanic but on the Rainbow Cruise from Smash Brothers Melee. That was almost what I did, but it just didn't seem that interesting either. Plus we know what happened to the Titanic. So, here is a subtly romantic situation, that would most likely develop into something very enjoyable in a few moments.
